Bedford & County A.C. caters for athletes of both sexes and all ages and abilities. The club competes at the highest level in Track, Road, and Cross country. All sections of the Club, men and women, young and old, are achieving success on the track, cross country and on the roads, whilst the Stadium hosts many major meetings each year. SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL 2009 All members will need to renew membership subscriptions in April. Fees can be paid at the stadium. Juniors/concessions club £25, england athletics £5, stadium £31.50 (total £61.50) Adults club £40, england athletics £5, stadium £63 (total £108) Social/ 2nd claim £15, stadium fees if facilities are used. Family membership - ask Derek Richards, club membership secretary. BIAS will shortly be introducing photocards and a barrier system. You will also need two passport photos for your stadium pass when you renew. Please help your club by renewing your membership promptly. Full details will be on noticeboards and in letters to be handed out shortly.
Track & Field
Bedford Beagles Beagles summer term starts on Saturday 25th April. Beagle are not meeting on Saturday 6th June. They will be meeting again on the 13th June.
Passport to Athletics Number in the Passport group are large at present and so a second Thursday session is being run- please see the passport page for further details about availability.

Latest Race Results
Both the senior mens team and senior womens team ran well at the weekend (18/04/09) in the National road relays. The mens 12 finished 6th and the women's 6 finished 5th. Our internationals Katrina Wootton (15m38s, 3rd fastest), Mark Draper (short leg 14m13s) & Neilson Hall (long leg 25m54s 5th fastest) were among the leading times on the day.
The senior womens six team finish 3rd in the SEAA 12 stage relay on 5 April 2009, the senior mens 12 finish 5th. Meanwhile Matt Janes run 1:48:10 in the Oakley 20 to win by 12 minutes, Jim McMahon is 3rd in 2:01:50.

Despite the senior men being unsuccessful in defending their recent team success, some excellent performances. Our medallists were Nielson Hall 3rd SM, Nicola sykes 3rd SW, Suzi Boast 3rd JW, Mollie Mckenzie 3rd U13G Teams 3rd Senior Men, 3rd U17 Girls & 2nd U13 girls
